OB Technician Labor and Delivery

Job Summary (List Format) OB TECH L&D Nights Shift: 11 PM 7 AM, required to work every other weekend (EOW) & holidays as needed Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Labor & Delivery (L&D) required Certifications: BLS and CST certification required Hours: Guaranteed 35 hours per week after breaks Overtime/Holidays: Facility pays regular rates for overtime and holidays Location: Bronx, NY Key Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room for surgery, including arranging sterile instruments, supplies, medications, and equipment Prepare patients for surgery by shaving and cleaning skin and assisting the surgical team to scrub in Sterilize and prepare surgical equipment and instruments Assist during surgeries by passing instruments, sponges, and dressings, retracting tissue, applying suction, and assisting with suturing Maintain strict sterile technique and environment throughout procedures Clean and reset the operating room before and after each case Other Requirements: CST certification and at least 2 years L&D experience mandatory #J-18808-Ljbffr vTech Solution
