Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13 Weeks (26-week extension may be available)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative recovery care for cardiac surgery patients in a cardiovascular ICU setting
• Monitor and manage critically ill cardiovascular patients, including those recovering from open heart surgery
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-acuity patient care in line with facility quality standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for CVICU patients
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/CVICU nursing experience
• Experience with immediate post-operative recovery of cardiac/open heart surgery patients
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or cardiothoracic ICU setting
• Familiarity with advanced cardiovascular monitoring and hemodynamic management
• Experience in a high-volume acute care or trauma-designated hospital environment
