DIRECTOR OF DESIGN - Swimwear, Surf and Apparel - Hybrid

Company Description A global lifestyle surf and swimwear brand is seeking a lead designer who has the passion for everything swim and surf. Role Description This is a full-time position located near Costa Mesa, California, with flexibility for some remote work, for a Director of Designer-Surf and Swimwear. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing product design across a range of surf and swim apparel. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, product management, and sales to ensure that our designs meet market trends, drive sales, and delight our customers. You will be responsible for bringing innovative ideas and design solutions to each project. Qualifications Strong experience in swimwear or surf and/or action sports industry Must have experience designing with Big Box Retailers, Target is a plus Minimum of 10 years of experience in design, preferably in the surf community Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at the same time Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to execute ideas from concept to final product Strong attention to detail and ability to incorporate trends into product designsPassion for design and innovation Bachelors Degree in design or a related field Location-Costa Mesa, California- Hybrid Category-Apparel and Swimwear Salary$150,000 plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Executive Profiles
