Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 5 x 8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 13-week assignment | Call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a high-volume Operating Room environment
• Specialize in Neuro/Spine surgical cases, including general surgery and orthopedic procedures
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes
• Operate and manage OR-specific equipment in accordance with facility protocols
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Adhere to facility dress code and professional standards, including navy scrubs with no T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, or nail polish

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• NIH certification required
• Demonstrated experience with general surgery and orthopedic surgical cases

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Da Vinci robotic surgical system
• Experience with Maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Familiarity with Epic EMR in an OR setting
