Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$2423.52/week - Job Summary: The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. The role involves monitoring fetal and maternal well-being, administering medications, and assisting with delivery procedures to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Assess and monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery. Administer prescribed medications and analgesics as needed. Assist physicians or midwives during delivery procedures. Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn management. Document patient care and concern in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Qualifications: Current RN license in good standing. Valid BLS and ACLS certifications. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in labor and delivery nursing. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
