Job Description: VAYA OFFER MISSION BAY 12-Hour Day/Night Rotation Will not rotate in the same week but possible to rotate in the a 4 week schedule period. Ability to float to other UCSF Campuses. Completed references must be in hand at time of submission REQUIRED CERTS: RN CAL License. BSN BLS ACLS REQUIRED CERTS. Minimum 2 years of experience required (FIRM) PREFERRED: ONS preferred. Telemetry, Ostomy experience. Previous travel assignment required (Does not accept first-time travelers). Important: Please submit all RTO at time of offer. RTO sent after contract is signed will not be considered.

Zion Call Required: - Weekend Coverage: - Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 10 Pre-Approved Time Off: two Orientation Hours: 40 Facility & Patient Care Details Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics Daily Census: 25 Number of Visits Per Day: - Number of Rooms: 28 Number of Beds: 28 Additional Unit Information Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses: The Surgical / Oncology unit cares for a variety of patients including those with urological, gynecological, colorectal, ortho, breast, head and neck, liver and pancreatic diseases. Special Procedures/Unit Details: Nurses provide complex wound care, ostomy care and tracheotomy care and make patient education a priority for both the patient and their caregivers for discharge. Special Equipment: - #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO: All RTO disclosed at time of submittal. RTO needs approval from the manager at time of offer. No additional requests will be accepted mid-contract. RTO cannot be within the first two weeks of start Locals: Accepted and have the same rates as Travel Charting: Epic; refer to UD on whether required or preferred Certs: BSN required for all RN positions; CA license in hand required for all RN positions Return Staff: ANY employment with any University of California medical facility and any of their acquired facilities MUST be included with employment history. Must provide dates worked, units worked, manager name/s upon submittal for a rehire eligibility check with HR References: 2 references from most recent employer needed at time of submittal Travel Pairs: Allowed but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit Floating: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite job specifications Teaching Hospital Experience: Required Modules: Modules are non-billable and included in NBO hours. Modules vary by unit/specialty/position and can range between 1 hour to 24 hours. Anything over 24 hours is billable. Modules are completed pre-start and annually. Start Date: Travelers with a Monday start date in allied fields or outpatient/ambulatory positions may start sooner if they are cleared to start sooner than the Wednesday before the original start date. Travelers booked for Tuesday start dates in a nursing/inpatient nursing position may not start sooner than what was booked. If traveler is cleared to start sooner than the Wednesday before the start, traveler’s start date may only be moved up with permission of PM. Orientation registration is 4:00pmPST on the Monday the week before the Tuesday start date.
