Adaptive Skills Therapist - M.S

Overview Liberty Behavioral and Community Services located in Culver City, CA, is seeking driven, talented, and experienced employees to work with developmentally disabled clients (ages 5-65) on adaptive skills training, including independent living skills (personal hygiene, laundry, cooking, etc.), social skills, safety skills, financial management, and related areas. Responsibilities and Duties Provide direct sessions to clients Provide feedback to parents Collaborate with team members, parents, and AST providers Write notes and reports Review notes and reports Attend staff meetings, clinical meetings, and mentor meetings Record data Ensure proper data collection and notes Comply with HIPAA laws and regulations Required Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Language, Rehabilitation, or a related field Valid driver’s license and car insurance TB test and criminal background clearance At least 1 year of experience designing and implementing adaptive skills training plans At least 1 year of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals Preferred Ability to lift 50+ pounds CPR and HIPAA training, Safety First training, and Mandated Reporting training Clean driving record for 2 years Familiarity with HIPAA Eligible for agency employment (not contracted direct care) 3-4 years of supervisory experience Licensed, registered, or certified in one of the following fields with 5 years of related experience: human services, occupational therapy, special education, psychology, nursing, creative arts therapy, speech and language therapy, BCBA, or DIR certification Full Time Benefits 401(k) and 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Flexible schedule Salary: $32- $34 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
