Medicaid Project Manager

Location: Remote

Role Overview

The Project Manager 2 is responsible for managing all aspects of a project from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. This role requires independent judgment and the ability to interpret project needs to determine the appropriate course of action. Work assignments are varied and frequently require independent determination of the proper actions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the overall project plan, including timelines, trackers, and supporting tools.

Manage meeting cadence, including creating agendas, capturing notes, and tracking action items.

Collect and distribute weekly workstream updates to ensure visibility and alignment across stakeholders.

Support preparation of leadership updates and report-outs.

Maintain the central project site as the primary repository for all documentation and materials.

Coordinate requests for documentation and gather required inputs from stakeholders.

Maintain and update key project documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency through regular reviews.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

Less than five years of technical experience.

Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lucid.

Familiarity with content management systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience preparing concise and actionable leadership-level updates.

Ability to develop and manage detailed project timelines and trackers.

Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent responsibilities.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting a Medicaid managed care organization.

Experience with a large healthcare enterprise.
