The School Psychologist will play a pivotal role in promoting the academic success and well-being of our diverse student body. We are looking for an empathetic professional who is passionate about providing personalized services and fostering a positive school climate. Responsibilities: Conduct prehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and stakeholders to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students with diverse needs. Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges. Administer and interpret standardized assessments to identify learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other psychological factors impacting student learning and behavior. Support teachers in implementing evidence-based interventions and strategies to address the diverse learning needs of students in the classroom. Serve as a consultant and resource to school staff on topics related to positive behavior support, social-emotional learning, and mental health promotion. Collaborate with munity agencies and service providers to coordinate support services and resources for students and families. Qualifications: Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement. National Certification as a School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred. Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting preferred. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and educational laws and regulations.
