Requirements

• Required certification: Case Management
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have acute care hospital inpatient CM experience 2. Cases: Not specified 3. Certifications: BLS required; copy of certifications required with submission 4. License: Will accept pending licenses but must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required; first time travelers MUST have acute care and Epic experience or travel experience 7. Shifts/Call: 5 8-hour days, 2-3 weekends during contract, every other holiday, every 4th weekend 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; no additional RTO approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at University of Virginia Health system; must be separated for one year and approved by UVA leadership; facility does not allow travelers to return after 365 days regardless of separation period 10. Travel/Local: Select units have 50-mile travel restriction; locals not accepted for specific listed units 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if aware of background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, excess time is billable; completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded in Workday 13. Travel Experience: Must have travel OR Epic experience 14.
