New Financial Operations Opportunity - Houston, Texas Location: Houston, Texas Compensation: $100,000-$130,000 Schedule: Hybrid We are partnered with a multi-billion dollar hedge fund and investment management firm, who are looking to hire a Financial Operations Analyst to work with their 15-person team based in their Houston office. Responsibilities Responsible for driving forecasting, owning strategy, and building models Trade booking and settlement Daily portfolio and cash reconciliations Risk and regulatory reporting Assisting with the preparation of fund financial statements Supporting quarterly and annual RFIs Bringing new ideas to the finance function Cross-functional work with multiple teams across the organization Translating ops performance into actionable financial insights for executive decision making Qualifications Must be based in the greater Houston area Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, hedge funds, or fund administration Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Excellent analytical, organizational and attention-to-detail skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to meet project deadlines Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity #J-18808-Ljbffr
