Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on recovery and functional improvement. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Assess patient status regularly and update care plans accordingly.
• Monitor and operate medical equipment such as Baxter pumps and mechanical lifts.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and home care instructions.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions in the electronic medical record system.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including certifications like BLS.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid nursing license and relevant RN credentials.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in rehab, med-surg, or related acute care areas.
• Have IV therapy experience and the ability to perform wound care if required.
• Exhibit strong communication, compassionate demeanor, and adaptability.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and rotate on-call shifts.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
