VP Global Controller

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a VP Global Controller in Boston, MA.Summary:We are seeking an experienced VP Global Controller to lead global accounting operations, financial reporting, consolidations, and compliance activities for a growing organization. This role will oversee a distributed accounting team, drive financial process improvements, maintain a strong internal control environment, and serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep technical accounting expertise, strong NetSuite experience, and a proven ability to manage multi-entity, multi-currency accounting operations in a complex global environment.Key Responsibilities:* Lead and develop global accounting teams across multiple entities and geographic regions* Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting* Manage multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations in accordance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS* Maintain ownership of the NetSuite environment, including process optimization, reporting, controls, and system improvements* Oversee general ledger accounting, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities* Partner with Finance leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, strategic initiatives, and business growth* Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency* Manage relationships with external auditors and support annual audit activities* Collaborate with Tax, FP&A, Operations, and executive leadership on financial and operational matters* Support international accounting, transfer pricing, and cross-border financial compliance as required* Identify opportunities to improve close processes, reporting capabilities, team effectiveness, and system utilizationRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance* 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility* Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite* Experience leading global and distributed accounting teams* Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations* Experience improving accounting processes, audit readiness, and ERP environments* Experience within SaaS, subscription-based businesses, technology, or technology-enabled services organizations* Experience supporting external audits and regulatory compliance requirements* Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS* Strong technical accounting background, including close management, reporting, internal controls, and intercompany accounting* Proven ability to operate as a hands-on leader while managing strategic priorities* Strong stakeholder management and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:* CPA or equivalent certification* Public company accounting experience* Private equity-backed or high-growth company experience* Experience with international accounting operations across Europe, APAC, or LATAM* Experience with M&A, post-acquisition integration, or business transformation initiatives* Experience presenting financial results and recommendations to executive leadership, boards, or investorsKey Competencies:* Accounting Leadership* NetSuite ERP* Financial Reporting* U.S. GAAP & IFRS* Global Consolidations* Multi-Entity Accounting* Internal Controls* Audit Management* SaaS & Subscription Accounting* Team Development* Process Improvement* Executive Business PartnershipJob TypeContractCompensation100 - $120
