\nThe Midstream Commercial Analyst helps ensure our midstream assets and commercial agreements are effectively understood, monitored, and optimized. This role provides the analysis and visibility needed to support contract management, operational planning, and commercial decision-making.

\n \nSummary
\nThe Midstream Commercial Analyst supports the company’s midstream operations through commercial analysis, contract administration, and operational reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of midstream operations and agreements, with the ability to analyze contractual terms, volumes, rates, and commercial performance to support informed business decisions.
\n \nJob Responsibilities and Essential Functions
\n• Analyze and interpret gathering, processing, transportation, and other midstream commercial agreements.
\n• Track key commercial terms, including rates, escalators, acreage dedications, minimum volume commitments, capacity commitments, and contract expirations.
\n• Monitor volumes, throughput, capacity, fees, and other commercial metrics to evaluate midstream performance.
\n• Support the Director of Midstream in evaluating commercial opportunities, contract negotiations, amendments, renewals, and strategic initiatives.
\n• Perform economic and commercial analyses related to existing and prospective midstream arrangements.
\n• Coordinate with Operations, Land, Legal, and Accounting to ensure commercial terms are understood and appropriately implemented.
\n• Maintain contract summaries and provide visibility into key contractual rights, obligations, and upcoming milestones.
\n• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning related to midstream assets and commercial arrangements.
\n• Identify commercial risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings or improved contract terms.
\n• Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis to support midstream leadership decision-making.

\n \nEducation and Experience (required):
\n• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy Management, Engineering, or a related field.
\n• Minimum of 5 years of midstream oil and gas experience, with demonstrated exposure to commercial agreements and contract terms.
\n• Working knowledge of natural gas, crude oil, and/or NGL gathering, processing, and transportation.
\n• Ability to interpret commercial agreements and understand rate structures, dedications, commitments, and other key contractual provisions.
\n• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
\n \nEducation and Experience (preferred):
\n• Experience in midstream commercial analysis, contract administration, business development, or asset management.
\n• Experience evaluating gathering and processing economics and commercial opportunities.
\n• Familiarity with upstream/midstream interfaces and producer relationships.
\n \nOther Requirements

\nCompensation
\nOur cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $95,200 - $152,300 annually in this location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.

\nThis position is located Denver, Colorado. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, it is the expectation that the selected individual will be available at the work location. No relocation or travel assistance will be provided by the Company for this position.
\n \nWork Environment
\nThis position operates in an office environment. This entails working inside in an office space wherein employee may be provided a public work station (cubicle) or private office. From time to time, the role will require field visits where exposure to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, dust, electrical charges and other unforeseen exposures may be encountered.
\n \nPhysical Demands
\nIn the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position.
\n \nPosition Type and Working Hours
\nThis is a full-time position. We operate on a 9/80 work schedule. Typical work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on working Fridays. Employee must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and to participate in occasional meetings, events, seminars, conferences, or other activities outside of typical work hours. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours.
\n \nTravel
\nOccasional travel to work site locations may be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, field visits, or visits to onsite locations.
