Plasma Center Nurse - RN

Job Description We are seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations in the USA – NC – Fayetteville – Morgan. Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and serological protein electrophoresis assessment. Manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for medical emergencies and coordinate donor transport to emergency care facilities. Consult with the Center Physician and Medical Affairs on medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility. Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and evaluate further occupational health/ER evaluation as needed. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist investigations of pandemic threats. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; graduate nursing program state requirements. Current state license or certification: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA). Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy. Completion of FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years of clinical or hospital experience. Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage range: $35.20 – $48.40 per hour.
