In this role you will get to develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to facilitate threat system model interactions in a common environment. You will also be involved with graphical user interfaces to support the configuration, execution, visualization, and analysis of complex wargame scenarios.What You'll Be Doing:Defining requirements and designing solutions for M&S softwareParticipating in technical discussions to assist in near-term and long-term planningDeveloping software and automated tests using C/C++ and Python on Windows and Linux PlatformsLeading technical tasks which could include directing and overseeing the work of less experienced developersWorking alongside a team, including mentoring junior software developers on C++, development practices, and software designRequired Clearance:Must be a US Citizen eligible for a Top Secret ClearanceWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent with 8+ years of experience, OR Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, OR Ph.D. with 4+ years of experienceStrong C++ programming skillsExperience developing products with regular release cyclesGood written and oral communication skills, as well as a desire to work with a highly technical teamWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Software development in a DevOps or DevSecOps environmentExperience working with an AGILE software development teamPython programming skills including integration of C++ code with PythonMentoring experienceExperience working with environmental datasets such as terrain, road networks, atmospheric data, RF propagation data, etc. or signature dataSecurity Clearance Requirement:A security clearance is not required to apply; however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance which requires U.S. citizenship, prior to the start date.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
