Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Entry Level Production Welder positions for a Manufacturing company in LaVergne, TN. This is a Temp-to-Hire job. Apply now!

Duties for this position include:

• Weld and manufacture COOP BRAND livestock feeders and gates for distribution to district stores

• Will train an individual new to welding with the right attitude

• Use basic hand tools and perform production and fabrication tasks in a manufacturing environment

• Learn and develop MIG welding and fabrication skills while producing quality products and meeting production expectations

Compensation (USD):

$18.00/hour

Schedule:

1st Shift

Monday - Friday

6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Overtime is required as needed.

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Manufacturing experience and knowledge of basic hand tools preferred.

• Basic MIG welding knowledge is a plus but not required — the company is willing to train the right candidate.

• Must be punctual, dependable, respectful, willing to learn, and interested in growing with the company. Steel-toe boots are required; all other PPE is provided.
