Job Title Parts ID Specialist Job Category Business Support Services Location Avon, Indiana (Hy US), 10144 Veterans Dr, 46123. Field-based, no relocation assistance. Job Type Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week Responsibilities Provide parts identification to dealers and customers, responding to approximately 2,600 questions per month. Research historical truck records, parts and service bulletins, technical publications, engineering and manufacturing bills‑of‑material, engineering drawings, and U.S. and European databases to verify information. Deliver bills‑of‑material and technical information to facilitate dealer installation of field modifications. Maintain technical publications libraries and online files of parts, service and engineering documents for research purposes. Submit correctional feedback to technical publications centers. Qualifications B.S. or technical degree preferred (or equivalent experience). 4‑6 years of relevant discipline experience. Strong communication, presentation and customer‑service skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Research and analytical skills. Knowledge of industrial forklift or heavy farm machinery, or automotive hydraulic, electrical and fuel systems. Resourceful, confident, able to work independently and make sound decisions with incomplete or unclear information.
