CT TechnologistJob Title: CT TechnologistProfession: ImagingSpecialty: General ImagingDuration: 13 weeksShift: 12hr Day ShiftHours per Shift: 36Experience: 2-3 years minimumLicense: ARRT-CT Certifications: BLSMust-Have: General CT experience from a hospital settingExperience with various patient typesExperience with GE equipment (GE Revolution and Evo preferred)Description: General information: 5 scanners available. Will not accept travelers with less than 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome. Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, with some pediatric cases (experience not needed), approximately 2-3 a month, usually teenagers. Common procedures include general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and head studies. Procedural experience required for biopsies and drains. Patient ratios are 1:1. Support on the unit includes other CT technologists, Radiology RNs, RRT, and Code Blue teams. Centralized transport is available. The charting system in use is EPIC. Floating is not required. Weekend rotation is not applicable. On-call requirements are not applicable. Holiday expectations include 1 summer and 1 winter holiday. Approval for time off is not applicable. All staff, including travelers, cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts.
