Location & Details Facility: Northern Sky Clinic Location: Bismarck, ND Address: 4535 Northern Sky Dr, Bismarck, ND 58503, USA Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $29.00 - $41.50 Pay Info: $10,000 sign on bonus with 2-year commitment, or $15,000 sign-on with a three-year commitment Responsibilities Plans, develops, and provides diet interventions, medical nutrition therapy, nutrition care and preventive counseling to individuals and groups in various care settings (primary, specialty, acute, skilled nursing, outpatient, community). Provides medical nutrition therapy services and monitors nutritional care for clients/patients/residents of all ages, including assessment, care plans, nutrition support, education and counseling, and evaluation of outcomes. Optimizes self-management education and skills for clients with chronic conditions; reviews treatments for effectiveness using evidence-based approaches. Leads nutrition care protocols for the assigned area and collaborates with the health care team; educates on diet according to disease state and health risk. Incorporates new trends to design care plans and update educational materials; tailors clinical education for clients, families, and caregivers. Participates in quality control, infection control, and clinical performance improvement activities. Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in dietetics or nutrition from an ACEND-accredited program. Note: After Jan 1, 2024, new entrants must have a master’s degree to sit for the registration exam (previously a bachelor’s was sufficient). Clinical nutrition experience through an approved program or post-graduate internship. Currently holds Registered Dietitian (RD) license in the applicable state(s). Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required. For applicable states, proof of a temporary/limited permit may be considered for registry-eligible individuals awaiting the CDR test; two exam attempts allowed within three months of hire.
