CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver – Good Pay + $5K Bonus | Home Daily

Earn $70,000 average annual gross pay on a dedicated shuttle route hauling frozen groceries between distribution and relay yards. Enjoy daily home time, no-touch drop-and-hook freight, and a $5,000 bonus.

Job Details

Shuttle frozen groceries in reefer trailers
Shuttle between Westfield, MA and relay yards in Milford or West Haven, CT
No-touch, drop-and-hook shuttle freight
5-10 shuttles per day, with a minimum of 3 required
May include store transfers, trailer moves, and local backhauls
No NYC deliveries
Store deliveries may involve 2-3 stops and electric pallet jack unloading
May assist other nearby accounts as needed

Shift Details

Sunday-Thursday
Start time: approximately 3 PM-4 PM
Approximately 500 miles/week
Home daily
6th day required during mandatory holiday periods, potentially for 3 consecutive weeks
Drivers work scheduled holidays unless the account is closed
Thanksgiving and Christmas off; New Year's Day not guaranteed

Job Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience
Clean driving record
Valid DOT Medical Card
No SAP drivers
Reliable personal transportation to and from work daily
Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and inspect tractor/trailer tires
Strong safety and customer service skills

Equipment & Training

Automatic reefer equipment
Slip-seat operation required
Trucks cannot be taken home
Uniforms provided and maintained by the account
