Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a small hospital-based skilled unit, requiring Epic EMR experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

• Trauma level varies by location: Level 1 (Rock Island), Level 2 (Moline), Level 3 (Madison, Sioux City, Bettendorf, Fort Dodge), and Level 4 (Muscatine)

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required; for IL-based positions, an active IL RN license is also required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with mechanical lifts required
• Experience with IV antibiotics required
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• One supervisory reference (performance eval/reference from within 2 years of employment or contract) required for consideration
• Must not have been employed by UnityPoint Health within the last 12 months

Additional Information

• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
• Candidates must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates in the Madison area may be considered at a reduced rate
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday windows
