Administrative And Clerical Functions

Initiates and performs a wide variety of administrative and clerical functions to support in coordinating patient activities.

Maintains and updates patient records.

Greets and receives patients, answers telephone calls, and takes and relays messages or makes referral to medical personnel, patients, and family members.

Prepares correspondence, runs reports, and prints documents.

Maintains and safeguards record confidentiality and medical information for assigned area.
