Production Lead

Production AssistantSupport plant production needs for daily operation, changeovers, and outbound shipments. Primarily responsible for assisting in the packaging of product of internal and external use, and assisting in changeover with other production teammates.Responsibilities:Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safelySafely operate machine to properly produce product and follow proper procedures for packaging to external customersRemove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flowDemonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required timeMaintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned spaceResponsible for safety and quality throughout productionClean equipment and area before, during, and after shiftMaintain clean work area through good housekeeping practicesFollow proper sorting and restacking instruction given by quality departmentAssist in changeovers when called up by supervisor or front-end operatorsPerforms other duties as required by Supervisor or ManagerRequirements:High School diploma or equivalentExperience working in a Manufacturing EnvironmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read, write and comprehend simple instructionsBasic Math skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shiftUse of hands and fingers to perform job functionAbility to stoop, kneel, bend and climbAbility to work in confined spacesAbility to lift up to 35lbsThe starting pay for this position is $23 an hour.Mauser Packaging Solutions offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, paid time off, and other competitive benefits.Mauser Packaging Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
