- Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft tailored therapy strategies that empower them to reach their life goals
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions that help enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and the ability to perform daily tasks
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
- Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy methods to support continued improvement at home
- Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment approaches to ensure sustained success
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Opportunities for continuing education and_postgraduate certifications are encouraged
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve their maximum level of independence
