Job Responsibilities
  • Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft tailored therapy strategies that empower them to reach their life goals
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions that help enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and the ability to perform daily tasks
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy methods to support continued improvement at home
  • Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment approaches to ensure sustained success
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Opportunities for continuing education and_postgraduate certifications are encouraged
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
