About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: State License Required Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of experience in the operating room - Willingness to float between units - Weekend requirement: 1 Saturday shift in a 6-week rotation - On-call requirement: 1 call shift in a 6-week rotation Description: The operating room registered nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. Candidates should have experience in various surgical procedures including general, gynecologic, urologic, and orthopedic surgeries. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Candidates who are well-rounded and possess the majority of the skills listed are encouraged to apply. Required skills include experience with robotic surgeries, total joint replacements, and orthopedic procedures. The daily patient census may include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates must be prepared to work weekends and handle on-call shifts as outlined in the job requirements. RTO must be included at the time of submission. Travelers may need to float to other facilities as required. Two references covering one year within the last three years are needed before starting.
