Overview Lead the athlete experience by coaching teammates and driving engagement in loyalty programs and services. As a Team Captain – Endzone & Loyalty, you will deliver fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experiences while building strong athlete relationships that drive retention. Job Duties & Responsibilities Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by anticipating needs and providing clear, accurate, and knowledgeable product information. Uphold merchandising and presentation standards through floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment. Promote and lead company programs such as loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private‑label credit card enrollment. Collaborate with the SM and ASM to develop and execute 30‑60‑90 day plans supporting business priorities. Establish and adjust operational plans, staffing, hiring needs, and merchandising sets in accordance with budgets and financial goals. Manage daily/weekly communication of departmental goals, assign workload based on skill levels, and monitor progress against plans. When the sole leader, act as Head Coach overseeing opening/closing procedures, cash office functions, and teammate supervision. Develop effective schedules for direct reports and adjust as needed to meet athlete traffic demands and operational initiatives. Build and lead a high‑performing team, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retaining direct reports. Ensure teammates receive training, coaching, feedback, development, recognition, and motivation throughout their lifecycle. Handle performance management, including annual reviews, promotional recommendations, and terminations when necessary. Create a welcoming store environment where teammates and athletes are treated with respect. Enforce safety, loss prevention, standard operating procedures, and applicable laws and guidelines. Hold teammates accountable for compliance with all policies and procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. 1–3 years of retail or customer‑facing experience. Previous people‑leadership experience preferred. Targeted Pay Range and Benefits Targeted Pay Range: $44,500.00 – $58,500.00.
