As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Sun: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and vehicle activity, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
