Growing together.You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, and support CPS enterprise applications that support strategic business initiatives and organizational prioritiesBuild and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based solutions using.NET, Angular, Azure, and SQL technologiesFollow established engineering standards, development best practices, coding guidelines, and architectural patterns to deliver quality solutionsParticipate in design discussions and code reviews to ensure solution quality, maintainability, performance, and securityDesign, develop, and maintain APIs, integrations, and shared application servicesContribute to the evaluation and implementation of AI capabilities within enterprise applications to improve business processes, automation, productivity, and user experienceCollaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutionsSupport application deployments, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement activitiesCreate and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing materialsProvide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members while contributing to a collaborative engineering culturePartner with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business objectivesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required SkillsBachelors degree in CS or IT or engineering related field7+ years of over all experience with Software development designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications5+ years of experience in C#,.NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, RESTful API design, Azure SQL, Entity Framework Core, and modern software architecture patterns5+ years experience of developing Angular applications using TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, API Management, and cloud-native architectures3 years of Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.Preferred SkillsSolid understanding of security best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, Entra ID (Azure AD), secure coding, and application governanceDemonstrated experience conducting technical design reviews, code reviews, and driving engineering standards and best practicesExperience leading technical delivery of complex initiatives and collaborating across cross-functional Agile teamsStrong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong database development skills with performance tuning, and data modeling*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
