Environmental Technician Volunteer
The Environmental Technician Volunteer supports the YMCA by helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff at the Dahl and Houser branches. Key Responsibilities: Assist with cleaning and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, offices, and program spaces Restock supplies and support daily housekeeping needs Clean and fold towels Follow YMCA safety, cleaning, and infection-control procedures Report maintenance or safety concerns to YMCA staff Requirements Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to help Ability to perform light to moderate physical tasks Commitment to the YMCA's mission and values Benefits Make a meaningful impact in your local community Gain experience in facility operations and housekeeping Build connections with YMCA staff and volunteers Enjoy a sense of purpose by supporting a healthy, welcoming environment
