Aspire Tech Graduate Software Engineer

Salary: $59,200 - 98,600 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for candidates on track to complete a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
• We need proficiency in at least one relevant programming language or technology, such as Angular, C#, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, or .NET.
• We expect a basic understanding of software development methods, including Agile and Waterfall, as well as storage systems and data modeling concepts.
• We value basic familiarity with AI-assisted and agentic development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, or similar solutions.
• We are looking for interest in and the ability to use AI-supported development workflows to generate, refine, test, and debug code while applying strong software engineering practices.
• We want someone with a genuine interest in technology and a willingness to learn new processes and tools.
• We are seeking a collaborative mindset and solid communication skills.
• We need someone who can work with leading-edge technologies alongside experienced and supportive colleagues.

• We will have you write and review portions of detailed specifications for simple system components.
• You will complete straightforward bug fixes.
• Under the direction of senior engineers, you will help implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
• You will work across different development environments, such as Agile and Waterfall, while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• You will resolve basic technical issues as needed.
• You will use AI-assisted and agentic development tools, with appropriate guidance, to speed up software development, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• You will apply AI-first development workflows while checking AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and maintainability.
• You will keep learning and adopting emerging AI development tools and practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
