Position: Healthcare Systems Developer

Responsibilities: Develop design specifications and test plans to meet user and business requirements. Analyzing information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system, and modify Gentiva's existing system. Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for Gentiva's Healthcare IT product development. Review and analyze performance of ongoing healthcare information systems utilized by the company throughout its network of locations, including the implementation of systems revisions and associated complex operating systems. Evaluate new systems software tools and technology for use by the Software Systems project teams, using a defined systems analysis methodology to ensure consistent and objective results. Design or develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Use data and manipulate system functionality to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer population, and prepare in-depth analysis of the operational. Review and troubleshoot system capabilities and manage and support integration of new systems technology systems.

Educ./experience: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus two (2) years post-baccalaureate experience as Microstrategy Developer, Systems Developer or related role. Experience must include MicroStrategy (10.4,10.3,9.4,9.3), Python, SQL (SQL Server, MySQL), UNIX, Tableau, and SAS Base and Enterprise Miner.
