Position available for an Assistant Project Superintendent working on commercial construction projects at DFW International Airport. This role involves working alongside site superintendents, overseeing site operations, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating schedules, and maintaining high-quality standards. Working closely with a small team and extensively collaborating with subcontractors and vendors, the Assistant Superintendent ensures project progress aligns with documentation and timelines, using standard office software tools.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction site activities to ensure project milestones are met
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulations
- Coordinate project schedules and resource allocation
- Conduct quality control checks to uphold construction standards
- Serve as liaison between subcontractors, vendors, and the main team
- Prepare and submit progress reports to management
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in blueprint reading
- Knowledgeable in safety regulations and project documentation
- Strong communication, problem solving, and team collaboration skills
- Effective time management techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in construction management
- High School Diploma or GED
