North Star Community Credit UnionChief Operating Officer Position Summary As a result of an upcoming retirement, North Star Community Credit Union is seeking a talented and strategic leader to join its team as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) . Reporting directly to and partnering closely with the CEO, the COO provides executive leadership and oversight for the branch network, call center, back-office operations, consumer deposits and loan originations, marketing, and training and talent development. This individual will play a key role in strategic planning, organizational growth initiatives, and board reporting, while helping ensure operational strategies align with the Credit Union’s long-term goals and commitment to exceptional member service. The COO will foster collaboration across the organization and support innovation and process improvement. A bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive credit union leadership experience are required; advanced degrees and industry certifications are preferred.
