Lead HR Technology Transformation in the Aerospace Industry as a Sr HRIS Specialist

Location: Herndon, VA |** Payrate: **$50- $55/hour DOE

**PDS Tech Commercial **is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Senior HRIS Specialist . This high-impact role will help drive the HR technology strategy across North America, supporting the transition to Workday, ServiceNow, and next-generation HRIS solutions.

Reporting to the Head of HRIS for North America, you’ll serve as a trusted subject matter expert, partnering with HR, IT, Legal, leadership, and vendors to optimize systems, improve processes, strengthen data integrity, and ensure regulatory and privacy compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support HRIS solutions across HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Absence Management, Time Management, and Payroll .

• Maintain, configure, test, upgrade, and optimize HR systems and applications.

• Help drive the HRIS roadmap and transformation to Workday and ServiceNow .

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions and process improvements.

• Support HRIS implementations, integrations, security administration, testing, releases, and post-go-live optimization.

• Develop HR reports and analytics for HR, managers, and senior leadership.

• Maintain HR data integrity, organizational structures, reporting relationships, compensation data, and other critical HR information.

• Ensure systems support federal and state compliance, data security, and privacy requirements.

• Partner with HR, IT, Compensation, Data Governance, business leaders, and external vendors.

• Manage HRIS issues, ticket resolution, end-user support, documentation, and training.

• Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources Management, or equivalent.

• 15 years of relevant professional experience.

• 10+ years of HRIS implementation experience across HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Time Management, and Payroll.

• Experience with Workday HCM Suite and/or Dayforce .

• Strong knowledge of the full HCM lifecycle, including payroll, compensation, benefits, absence and time management, HR master data, and employee shared services.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with ServiceNow, project management tools, and Google Workspace .

Preferred

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or relevant HRIS certifications.

• Experience with organizational administration tools and systems.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
