Manufacturing Technician III

Responsibilities Creates and maintains machine programs and profiles for new and existing products Aids in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications for manufacturing operators Troubleshoots operator problems and works with leadership on training and process improvements Communicates problems to Engineers and/or leadership Assists in the testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes Assists in performing experiments for failure analysis and root‑cause analysis Recommends additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for the product debug areas Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities Complies with all company security policies and procedures Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors; demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions Builds productive internal and external working relationships Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways; typically receives little instruction on day‑to‑day work with general instructions on new assignments Qualifications 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role Ability to provide various levels of engineer quality work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective interpersonal, multitasking, organization, and prioritization skills High attention to detail and ability to work with diverse groups Discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism Ability to work with minimal supervision and use continuous improvement tools Strong customer service and client focus Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and WebEx conferencing software 2‑year Engineering or Technical degree preferred (or equivalent education and experience) Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required Benchmark considers this a safety‑sensitive position.
