Journeyman Mold Maker

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: The Mold Maker Journeyman repairs Mold equipment using a variety of tools. This role welds, files, grinds, vents, and polishes the Molds. This role involves letter cutting, lathe work, and millwork. Compensation and Schedule: $40.74 Hourly Rate Schedule here Responsibilities: Weld, grind, file, and polish mold equipment Grind lathe tools and do lathe work as required Run surface grinder when reducing mold equipment Use welding torches and gauges Repair mold equipment using milling machines Inspect mold equipment Minimum skills / qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in a production manufacturing environment Must be able to stand for 8 hours Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds Preferred skills / qualifications: Technical school degree or equivalent Journeyman Card or equivalent experience Stable work history with no gaps in employment About Ardagh Group Ardagh Glass Packaging is a global leader in glass packaging solutions, producing packaging for the world’s leading brands.
