Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

$2148.80/week - Job Summary: Seeking a qualified MLT/MLS-certified Medical Technologist to perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests. The role involves working in a high-volume lab environment, supporting microbiology, chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood bank operations. Responsibilities: Conduct and interpret laboratory tests across multiple areas including micro, chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood bank. Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as Vitros 7600, AU480, DXH800, CA2500, and Iris Workcell. Collaborate with laboratory team to ensure accurate, timely results and troubleshoot equipment issues. Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed. Document test results accurately in the LIS system (e.g., Polytech, Avalon, Orchard, Prolis, BioTracer). Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Must be ASCP or AMT certified as MLT or MLS. Hold a valid WV license as MLT or MLS. Minimum of 1-year experience in a high-throughput clinical laboratory setting. Proficiency with LIS software (Polytech, Avalon, Orchard, Prolis, BioTracer). Ability to perform phlebotomy and support various lab departments.
