Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

Pride Health is seeking a Pharmacy Logistics Technician to join a leading pediatric healthcare team in Philadelphia, PA 19104 . This position is ideal for a dependable healthcare support professional with experience in medication distribution, pharmacy logistics, and inventory management within a hospital or retail pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely delivery and transport of medications throughout the hospital and patient care areas.
• Perform batch and off-batch medication production run deliveries.
• Manage medication cassette deliveries and support Meds-to-Beds services from the Retail Pharmacy.
• Conduct medication expiration inspections across pharmacy departments, nursing units, and ambulatory care locations.
• Receive medications and supplies from wholesalers and manufacturers.
• Replenish pharmacy inventory, medication storage shelves, Pyxis MedStation ES units, and surgical centers.

Qualifications :Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License.
• Experience in pharmacy logistics, medication distribution, or supply chain support.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Windows operating systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred:

• One (1) year of hospital or retail pharmacy experience.
• Experience working with automated medication dispensing systems such as Pyxis MedStation ES.
• Knowledge of medication inventory processes and pharmaceutical handling procedures.

Additional Information:

• Location : Philadelphia, PA
• Shift Schedule : Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Interview Process: One Round Onsite Panel Interview
• Contract Length : 3 months with possible extension
• Pay Rang e:18.00-20.00.Per hour

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
