Purchasing Specialist - Palm Beach

Work Type: Full time, onsite, contract to hire
Schedule: 6:30a - 3:30p
Compensation: $23-25/hr

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming deliveries, with emphasis on perishable F&B inventory
• Maintain FIFO practices, food safety compliance, and refrigerated inventory controls
• Coordinate with vendors regarding deliveries, discrepancies, returns, and urgent requests
• Support ordering, purchasing, and emergency procurement needs
• Assist with inventory counts, month?end inventories, and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records using internal systems and Excel
• Partner with Accounting/AP to ensure accurate invoice matching and vendor setup
• Support process improvements to strengthen inventory and purchasing controls
• Provide administrative and cross?departmental purchasing support

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain
• Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or facilities?based environments preferred
• Familiarity with perishable and refrigerated inventory handling
• Strong Excel skills; experience with purchasing or inventory systems preferred
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Strong communication skills with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Leadership mindset with interest in growth and process improvement
• Bilingual skills a plus

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
