Requirements Robert Wood Johnson- Newark Beth Isreal Medical Center Department of Surgery / General Surgery Wound care needs a locum to cover ASAP to cover for maternity leave which has been in effect as of November 2026 – March 2027 **They are looking for candidates with current/relevant wound experience and active wound certification. ** Please list any anticipated procedures/surgeries the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes: Debridement of wounds - OR/bedside, application of negative pressure wound therapy (wound vac) Description of Work Assignment: Rounding inpatient on wound consults, follow up rounds for established inpatients, optimizing for OR debridement Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: M-F inpatient/OR Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: M-F 7A-4P. OT as needed On call? No Patient Load: Split with APPs and supervising physician- appx 15 per day Board Status Requirement (BC/BE): n/a Is there additional support staff? Will be working with APPs and supervising MD. Is the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? Will be working with APPs and supervising MD. Are there Advanced Practice Providers? If yes, is the locums provider responsible for them? This position is for an APP. They are not responsible for the other APP. Trauma Level of Work Location: n/a EMR System?
