Project Manager

Requisition ID: 71926 Whirlpool is looking for a Project Manager/Leader to work onsite at its Mount Pleasant, WI location. The Project Manager will lead cross‑functional teams to deliver project objectives with speed, quality and efficiency, applying Whirlpool Product Development (WPD) methodology and established project management disciplines. Your Responsibilities Will Include Lead projects using WPD, PDP and ADP, owning project delivery results and ensuring smooth transitions to business owners. Manage local and global teams from concept through release, coordinating weekly core team meetings and other communications. Serve as a subject matter expert on WPD processes and tools. Identify, assess and mitigate risks, develop risk plans and influence decisions on risk acceptance. Drive change management, guiding the team through analysis, impact assessment and go/no‑go decisions. Engage stakeholders, maintain registers, and report project performance and requirements. Maintain project health data in multiple systems, support data tracking and reporting. Track and report project expenses and capital calendar. Coordinate bill of materials and prototype build execution. Track parts development and production readiness, coordinating cross‑functional groups. Prepare project data reports, KPIs and presentations for meetings and integration events. Cover for the Project Leader when absent. Develop and track the master schedule, following up with team members. Maintain action register activities. Contribute to the Project Leadership Office (PLO) objectives and embedment initiatives, including change management, tool customization and centralized project management solution at InSinkErator. Travel to key manufacturing or supplier sites as needed. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree. At least 2 years of project management experience, managing scope, timeline, budget, quality, stakeholder communication and risk. Preferred Skills And Experiences Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP certification. At least 2 years of experience in product development, preferably in consumer or durable goods. Experience with project management software and data analytics for project health KPIs. Proven ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams to achieve challenging project outcomes.
