Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Description of Responsibilities
  • Conduct a broad spectrum of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging.
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy and understanding.
  • Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure superior diagnostic imaging quality.
  • Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions.
  • Thoroughly document procedures and keep patient records updated in the electronic medical system.
  • Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound techniques and adhere to best practices.
Education Requirements
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
  • Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program.
Certifications Required
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
Skills Needed
  • Exceptional technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques complemented by proficient patient positioning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions.
