Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is accountable for managing end-to-end talent acquisition, sourcing both operational and corporate staff (project managers, superintendents, estimators, support positions) across a $1B+ construction organization. This role collaborates closely with hiring managers throughout the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Full-Cycle Recruitment: Coordinate the hiring process from the initial job posting and candidate sourcing to salary negotiation and offer finalization. Job Posting & Marketing: Author and manage job openings across major job boards, social media platforms, career sites, and construction networks. Company Representative: Service as a brand ambassador at industry career fairs, workforce development events, and community outreach programs to promote LeChase as an employer of choice. Sourcing & Talent Pipelining: Aggressively seek out both active and passive candidates through job boards, networking, industry-specific referrals, and campus career fairs. Screening & Assessment: Evaluate applicants to ensure they possess the required technical skills, leadership abilities, and necessary education/experience. Candidate Reference Checks: Create and implement new reference check process and guidelines. Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner with supervisors and managers to anticipate upcoming needs, define job requirements, and prepare postings. Offer and Hire Letters: Draft, issue, and track formal job offer and hire letters, ensuring precise details regarding compensation, benefits, and start dates. Onboarding: Works closely with the People & Culture onboarding team to ensure candidates have all pre-hire requirements completed. Referral Program: Promote, manage and track LeChase’s Employee Referral Program. Candidate Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring they receive timely updates and a positive experience throughout the interview process.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field preferred. A combination of education and experience will also be considered. Minimum 5 years of experience in company-wide recruiting initiatives and/or experience as a human resources coordinator or specialist. Experience as part of a Human Resource team highly desired. Strong track record of successful hires and working with hiring managers. Experience with using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and job post boards. Ability to connect and communicate verbally and in writing with employees and leaders at all levels across the organization; leadership, professional/administrative staff, field leaders, etc. Exceptional organizational skills; timeline, detail and quality-oriented. Ability to uphold the highest levels of confidentiality. High level of ability to speak effectively and comfortably via Zoom, phone, and in-person meetings. Works successfully with a broad range of styles/personalities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; to question common practices and contribute improvements. High level of proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook. Familiarity with the construction field a plus. In the absence of construction experience, an ability and commitment to learning the business, LeChase culture, and construction terminology quickly is essential. Requirements Travel up to 10% - mostly within footprint of LeChase regional offices and jobsites. Ability to attend workforce development and career fairs.
