NJ8001(Springfield NJ) - Springfield, NJ 07081 Overview Salary Range $36,000.00 - $36,000.00 Base+Commission/year Level Management Position Type Full Time Job Shift Any Category Management Description Position Summary The Branch Manager Executive is responsible for driving sales, providing leadership to the branch, and overseeing operational matters including recruitment and selection, employee development and support. Essential Job Functions Represent the Company in a professional and enthusiastic manner by providing an exceptional level of customer service and adhering to core values in job responsibilities and interaction with internal and external customers Lead and develop a branch system to achieve market-share growth and production objectives of the branch Select, recruit, hire, and manage mortgage industry professionals to achieve and maintain branch's performance goals Structure loans, interpret tax returns and other income and asset documents with employees Ensure sales staff receives ongoing training, to assimilate and successfully achieve branch objectives Ensure all branch employees are obtaining their required continuing education requirements Work in conjunction with corporate to monitor and assist in loan sale administration, quality and salability Monitor, assess and develop employees, providing regular feedback, coaching and mentorship, in addition to formal reviews Work through the corporate marketing department to ensure all branch marketing strategies are approved by the company and industry compliant Work in conjunction with accounting and Director of Sales to maintain target P&L levels, including but not limited to adequate reserves and working capital to maintain branch viability Maintain high customer satisfaction levels Ensure invoices and financial reporting are submitted in a timely manner Ensure that employees' commission structures are compliant with Dodd Frank Regulations Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications 5-7 Years' experience in the residential lending industry 1-2 Years' supervisory experience in the residential lending industry preferred Valid NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector, and other decision underwriting engines Bachelor's degree preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to effectively supervise and lead a team while maintaining a productive environment Knowledge of administration, business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation and coordination of people and resources Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and analysis, and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, sales control systems and reporting Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized in a fast paced environment Ability to work well in a high energy, deadline-driven environment Ability to be resourceful and find alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Basic math aptitude, sufficient to add, subtract, multiply and divide Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated commitment and adherence to MLB's core competencies of: Occupational Integrity Team-Oriented Responsible Analytical Service-Minded Physical Demands of the Job The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
