You will work a Monday to Friday schedule, with a standard 40-hour work week, allowing for a balanced professional life.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, utilizing specialized assessment techniques to determine their physical therapy needs.Create personalized treatment plans based on your assessments, integrating evidence-based practices to ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation.Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to patients in both clinic and home settings, applying various modalities and treatment techniques as warranted by individual patient conditions.Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working with occupational therapists, physicians, and other health professionals to enhance patient outcomes and recovery experiences.Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment processes and self-care techniques to encourage active participation in their recovery journey.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, maintaining clear communication with adjusting strategies based on the patient's response to therapy.Ensure adherence to excellent standards of customer service throughout patient interactions, contributing positively to the overall patient experience.Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will treat a wide variety of patients, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports-related injuries. Your work will focus not only on pain management and rehabilitation but also on educating patients regarding their conditions to empower them toward self-management and full recovery. Building strong, trusting relationships with patients is essential to inspire confidence and foster motivation for their rehabilitation.QualificationsA Bachelor's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program recognized by APTA or CAPTE.Current State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.Proficient in using electronic health record systems and basic word processing to document patient care and manage treatment plans.Preferred ExperienceCandidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in the field of physical therapy. Experience in a rehabilitation setting is a plus but not required. Proven ability to establish rapport with patients and a desire to pursue ongoing education and training will set candidates apart, enhancing both their individual careers and our collective commitment to patient care.Compensation and BenefitsValley Care Solutions offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance.
