Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Kidlavie LLC. The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our playground, party rooms, and restaurant areas. This position ensures that children, families, and guests enjoy a clean and hygienic experience at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas including playground equipment, dining areas, party rooms, restrooms, and kitchen support areas.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces on a regular schedule.

Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure waste is disposed of according to health and safety regulations.

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and restocking supplies.

Assist in preparing party rooms before and after events (tables, chairs, decorations, and general tidiness).

Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed supplies to the supervisor.

Work as part of a team to ensure the playground and restaurant areas are always presentable and guest ready.

Requirements

Previous cleaning/janitorial experience preferred (hospitality, restaurant, or childcare facility experience a plus).

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and hygiene.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings if required.

Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, and stand for long periods.
