Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Hybrid in Durham, NC

Ideally, candidates should have recent Talent Acquisition/recruiting experience within a healthcare company, preferably in an internal corporate recruiting role.

Hybrid position - onsite up to two days/week

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to develop and execute strategic recruiting initiatives that align with workforce planning, business objectives, and talent needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers and Talent Management leadership to identify, attract, and hire top talent while building strong candidate pipelines for current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop workforce planning and recruiting strategies using industry trends, internal data, market insights, and business priorities.
• Design and implement creative sourcing and recruitment marketing strategies to attract qualified, diverse talent.
• Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs, refine job descriptions, assess candidates, and determine appropriate compensation.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition development through candidate selection and offer generation.
• Advise hiring managers on effective recruiting strategies, workforce planning, and proactive talent identification to support future business growth.
• Build strong, long-term partnerships with hiring managers, Talent Management teams, and key business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through industry-specific job boards, professional associations, networking, and other sourcing channels.
• Collaborate with college recruiting, diversity, and military recruiting teams to expand talent outreach and support hiring initiatives.
• Represent the organization at career fairs, college recruiting events, and diversity-focused recruiting events as needed.
• Ensure recruiting activities comply with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements and applicable Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment notes, and documentation within the applicant tracking system.
• Lead and implement large-scale recruiting projects and process improvements that positively impact the talent acquisition function.
• Manage third-party recruiting vendors as needed.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to other recruiting team members as appropriate.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of relevant experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a related field.’
• Workday experience
• Prior healthcare industry experience working upward of 30 reqs
• Staffing experience in healthcare or pharmacy industries
• Strong consultative skills with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and business leaders.
• Experience developing sourcing strategies, managing full-cycle recruiting, and building talent pipelines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
