TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Fort Morgan, Colorado, 80701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS (AHA) AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring BLS (AHA) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Must-Have: Must have 1 year of labor and delivery experience Must be trained in LDRP Must be able to triage and function as the baby catcher/transition nurse Description: Candidate will interview with the clinical team. Candidates do not need to be able to circulate C-sections or manage post-operative gyn patients. The charge nurse is one of two nurses on shift. There are no nurse aids or surgical techs on this unit. Obstetricians are not in-house but have a 20-minute response time when called. Anesthesia is in-house during regular business hours and on call after hours with a 20-minute response time. Respiratory therapy may attend deliveries but may not always be available due to staffing shortages. The unit works to adhere to AWHONN guidelines for ratios as much as possible. Half of all weekends are required. Holidays will need to be covered, including winter holidays. There is no call or standby requirement for this position. Candidates are required to read their own strips as no telemetry/monitor techs are available. Shifts may have some self-scheduling but can be adjusted based on unit needs. Scrubs are not provided, and there is no color requirement for scrubs.
