Job Duties Process and manage customer purchase orders and sales orders Utilize SAP for order management, customer service, inventory inquiries, returns, and related functions Monitor order fulfillment, backorders, shipments, and delivery schedules Coordinate with warehouse and internal teams regarding order status and shipment needs Respond to customer questions and provide timely updates regarding orders Process customer returns, cancellations, excess inventory requests, and related issues Handle freight and parcel claims and assist with resolving customer concerns Maintain accurate order and customer information in company systems Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, sales representatives, warehouse personnel, and other departments Provide excellent customer service while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified. Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position. Experience Requirements Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Commitment to quality, safety, professionalism, and dependable attendance. Ability to learn new processes, procedures, equipment, or software as required. xperience processing customer purchase orders and sales orders in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or industrial environment Hands-on SAP experience for order entry, inventory inquiries, customer service, returns processing, and order management Experience managing backorders, shipment coordination, freight claims, parcel claims, returns, and customer requests Strong data entry, 10-key by touch, and typing skills (60-65+ WPM preferred) Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred. Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment. Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Sales Order Processor.
